Le gouvernement a annonce que des dizaines de milliers de policiers patrouilleraient dans les rues et infligeraient des amendes de 135 euros aux personnes sans déclaration écrite justifiant leurs raisons de leur absence.

French people will have to stay at home as France closed all schools, theatres, cinemas and a range of shops, with only those selling food and other essential items allowed to remain open under threat of punishment, banning all but essential outings in a bid to curb the spread of the coronavirus. The government announced that tens of thousands of police officers would patrol the streets and impose fines of €135 on people without a written statement justifying their reasons for absence.
